Holistic Chiropractic in Berlin Neukölln

A Reset For Your System

Holistic chiropractic and manual joint therapy can help bring the body back into balance. In my practice in Berlin-Neukölln, I combine modern chiropractic techniques, manual joint therapy, and holistic bodywork – gentle, individualized, and always tailored to your specific needs. My treatments are designed for people who feel limited in everyday life, at work, or during physical activity and want to move more easily again.

Move more freely, reduce pain, and regain confidence in your body.

Who this treatment is for?

My chiropractic treatments are especially suitable for people who want to move more freely, feel more stable in their body, and become more resilient again. Many of my patients do not come only because of pain, but because certain movements suddenly feel restricted, uncomfortable, or less reliable in everyday life.

This treatment is often a good fit for people with:

  • neck and shoulder tension related to work, stress, or one-sided movement patterns or strain
  • low back pain or restricted movement in the lower back
  • recurring feelings of blockage in the spine, pelvis, or rib cage
  • discomfort that shows up with movement, sitting, turning, lifting, or breathing
  • the wish to become more active again and feel safer in their body

Important: In acute emergencies or if a recent herniated disc with neurological deficits is suspected, a medical evaluation is necessary. Please see a doctor about it.

My treatment goal: more mobility, less pain, more joy in movement

My goal is to improve mobility and reduce pain sensitivity — so that more becomes possible again and movement feels easier and more enjoyable. At the same time, I also support the musculoskeletal system under athletic load, so that movement is not only possible again, but can also remain strong and resilient.

I always see the spine as a functional unit. Neck complaints are often connected to the thoracic spine, shoulder girdle, or breathing mechanics; lower back issues are frequently linked to the pelvis, hips, or the overall tension patterns of the body. That is why I do not treat pain only where it appears, but also look at the relationships within our body that may be contributing to it.

N
I came with a major pain in my back and left feeling right as rain. Nelly was kind, professional and has an outstanding practice – it was zen and very comfortable with care exhibited from start to finish. I will definitely return and can only recommend her.

When can chiropractic care help?

Chiropractic treatments are not only used for acute pain of the musculoskeletal system – especially the spine. It can also be helpful in cases of chronic complaints, recurring movement restrictions, or functional disturbances involving the spine and joints.

Common reasons people come to my practice include:

  • Back pain, lumbago, “slipped disc” or acute low back pain
  • Sciatica and neuralgia
  • Shoulder-arm syndrome
  • Blockages in the thoracic and cervical spine, atlas misalignments
  • Pelvic tilt, functional leg length differences
  • Knee and hip problems
  • Tennis or golfer’s elbow
  • Headaches, migraines, dizziness, tinnitus
  • Breathing difficulties, pain when breathing

How I work

I combine gentle mobilization and targeted chiropractic adjustments with a holistic approach to posture, muscle tension, breathing, and movement. Which techniques I use depends on your findings, your symptoms, and what your body needs in that moment. Exercises and movement guidance are an important part of my work. Especially in chronic or recurring complaints, meaningful change often happens when hands-on treatment and active participation work together. In addition to exercises, I also work with approaches that support nervous system regulation, for example through acupuncture or breathwork. When body awareness, motor control, and conscious relaxation come together, movement patterns can often change more sustainably. This means the goal is not only to release specific restrictions or reduce pain for the moment, but to support the body as a whole in becoming freer, more coordinated, and more resilient again.

Got questions about this?

What is holistic chiropractic?

Holistic chiropractic views the body as a whole and aims to detect and treat dysfunctions of the musculoskeletal system. It not only addresses local complaints but also considers their effects on overall wellbeing.

Is the treatment painful?

The techniques used are generally gentle and designed to release blockages and activate the body’s self-healing abilities. Some patients report a slight pressure sensation during treatment, which is usually experienced as relieving rather than painful.

Is the treatment covered by the public health insurance?

As a practitioner, I cannot bill the public health insurance. However, many private health insurers, subsidy offices, or supplementary insurance plans cover the costs fully or partially. Please check your contract or ask your insurance provider in advance. You will receive an invoice according to the German fee schedule for non-medical practitioners (GebüH), which you can submit for reimbursement. I do not accept prescriptions for osteopathy at my practice.
